Michael Matus (actor)
Michael Matus is a British actor. He was born in Borneo and attended the King's School in Canterbury before studying at the University of Bristol and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
He was in the original production of Martin Guerre directed by Declan Donnellan, and in the transfer of a new production of ''Lend Me a Tenor-The Musical''. He has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare's Globe, the Royal Court Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Shared Experience, Headlong and the Citizens Theatre, Glasgow, West Yorkshire Playhouse on 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Taboo in Brixton, The Sound of Music at Regent's Park and The A to Z of Mrs P at the Southwark Playhouse. He played small roles in ''The Muppet Christmas Carol'' and ''The Crying Game'', and on television has appeared in ''Eastenders'', ''Endeavour'', ''The Bill'', ''A Prince Among Men'', and ''The Dom Joly Show''.

Michael Matus lives in London. He is a keen cricket player and in 1991 founded the team, 'International Rescue CC'.
